In fact, I think the deeds go back to the 1880s. Well, that must have been the last time the floor had been repaired because it was in a shocking condition! However, when you replaced them throughout our family home, I reckon that we won’t have to contact you again for a very long time because they now look as though they are built to last. And it wasn't as bad as I first thought either – you managed to salvage some of the existing floor boards and match up replacements for those you did have to replace that fitted in perfectly. The result is a great looking floor and we can now finally buy the furniture which we want because we know that our floorboards can support it!”
