A great variety of wooden flooring has been used over the centuries. We can identify those which best match your existing boards or blocks – and track them down from our network of reclaimed floorboard suppliers.Why use us?

One such instance was in a 1930’s office block in central London. It was covered period parquet blocks, but an area of 40sq ft was missing. Despite our efforts, we were unable to find any matching blocks in London.

So we went further afield – and eventually identified the right blocks from the demolition of an old mews building in Nottingham.

They were double the thickness, but after being cut in half, laid and treated with three coats of hard wax oil… the results were outstanding.

Hard Waxing wooden flooring in Berkshire.When old lacquer remains on the floor – such as black ‘Victorian’ wax – then we can remove it completely. With the latest machines, we can sand right into the corners, use edging sanders and fine tools for a complete and even sand – and a smooth surface.

An old concrete fire hearth is also no obstacle to a complete new floor. We’ll remove all traces and replace the gap with new flooring.
